A New Standard

A new standard has been adopted by the Fluid Sealing Association called “Standard Test Method for Determining (m) and (y) Loading Constants Applicable to Gasket Materials and Design.”  This test procedure will establish criterion to determine standard loading constants that are cited in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers codes and standards for pressure vessel design.  For a complimentary copy of this new standard (FSA-G-605-11), please go to www.fluidsealing.com
